Our Own Hot Spring / Relax in 18 Hot Spring Baths across 3 Facilities

Enjoy baths fed from the traditional Yamashiro Onsen hot spring, discovered 1,300 years ago, as well as our own private hot spring, discovered in 2012. At Yunokuni Tensyo, guests can enjoy both of these abundant hot water sources at three unique bathing facilities, with alternating hours for men and women. The eighteen baths include open-air baths, stone-paved baths, and much more — try them all!

Yugen no Yudono

Hot Spring Relaxation Surrounded by the Grandeur of Nature

The spacious hot spring open-air bath area, surrounded by greenery, offers fresh air and a magical atmosphere for enjoying a soak in a variety of unique baths, including medicinal baths and partitioned baths. Indoors, you’ll find both hot and warm baths, as well as a sauna and a cold-water bath.

  • The usage hours for men and women are ordinarily as shown above, but hours may vary depending on bath usage, or in the event of maintenance or other unavoidable circumstances. We appreciate your understanding.

Feel the Natural Beauty of Japan in the Waterfall

Enjoy a view of a waterfall tumbling down over boulders as you relax in the indoor baths, or in unique open-air baths like the wooden tub bath, rock bath, Goemon pot bath, and jar bath.

Kutani no Yudokoro

A Comfortable Soak Surrounded by the Tradition of Kaga

The local crafts of Kaga are used to adorn these baths: painted plates on the walls featuring the traditional five colors of Kutani Ware, alongside translucent wall screens and a view of a Japanese garden, for a truly Japanese feel.
Enjoy a variety of open-air baths, including a wooden tub bath, rock bath, and Goemon pot bath.
A sauna and cold-water bath are also available.
